Snapshots

I’ve been an amateur photographer for more than 60 years. I set up my own darkroom as a teenager. But my attention to the craft has been sporadic. When I’m fully in, I shoot like a mad man. And when I’m not, I’m not.

But I never stop seeing that which I know should be captured and preserved. Yet, way more than half of what I ever shot is lost. It was never digitized and therefore had no means of hanging around.

Still, I estimate I have files of something more than 20,000 pictures. I’m going to share — slowly, because I want to tell you something about them. At heart, I’m a storyteller and these photos have stories. I hope you enjoy.

You can find additional photographs I have taken on my Viewbug Profile, where I have won a variety of awards.
